NHS
CCSCollect works with the NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA) to recover outstanding balances for the following:
NHS Penalty Charges
If you incorrectly claim free NHS prescriptions or free or reduced cost dental treatment, you’re at risk of getting a Penalty Charge Notice. If you have not challenged the Penalty Charge Notice within the stated timeframe detailed on the correspondence that the NHSBSA have previously sent you then the NHSBSA will have added a surcharge to the balance. A full breakdown of these charges can be found on the first letter that CCSCollect has sent you. All charges are issued in accordance with the NHS (Penalty Charge) Regulations 1999.
NHS Overpayments
– NHS student bursary overpayments and NHS social work student bursary over payments
– NHS pension overpayments
– NHS injury benefit scheme overpayments
